A Visual Investigation of Feminism:
A deconstruction of visual culture towards the design of a new visual language
This master thesis is an investigation on feminism and its visual representation, intending to formulate a distinctive visual language that embodies and embraces feminist ideals. On an abstract level, this thesis discuss the relationship between a message and its delivery, as well as the importance of communicating visually. I am interested in how the visuals with which we coney concepts affect the final perception of the message. On the practical side, the investigation on feminism is willing to reveal potencial possiblities for a change and the raising of awarness through a system based ona new visual language. The final series of poster is screenprinted with my personal tecnique which produce unique prints.
